Frogs start a three game road swing
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's soccer team will hit the road for the first time this season as they open up a three game road trip Sunday night at Missouri. The Horned Frogs are undefeated (4-0-1) to open the season for the second time in the last three years.
ABOUT TCU
The Horned Frogs are coming off a dominating 4-0 defeat of Pittsburgh on Thursday night. Four Frogs found the back of the net. Kayla Hill notched her team-leading second goal to open the scoring, while McKenzie Oliver, Natalee Heiser and Haley Mallion all tallied for the first time this year. Katie Lund stopped all four shots she faced to post her second shutout of the year.
ABOUT MISSOURI
Missouri enters the contest with a 1-2-1 mark on the year. The Tigers dropped a 1-0 overtime loss to Northwestern on Thursday in their home opener. Missouri has struggled to score this season with just two goals in the opening four games. In goal, Kelsey Dossey made five stops in the loss.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's meeting will be the sixth in the all-time series. Missouri leads the series with a 4-1 record, including a 2-0 mark in Columbia. TCU won the last meeting, picking up a 2-1 win in overtime on Sept. 3, 2017 in Fort Worth on a penalty goal scored by Allison Ganter.
