Playing in cold and windy conditions, the Horned Frogs shot a final-round 305 to finish seventh.
"We really had a lot of fight today," TCU women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "We came out strong on the back nine. We started making birdies, playing better and never gave up.
"I know everyone is disappointed in our overall finish as a team, but a lot of better things happened today. We made some putts and had more energy out there."
Greta Bruner and Emmy Martin were the top Horned Frogs Sunday with 75s. Bruner tied for 16th individually, her fourth consecutive top-20 result.
Bruner birdied three of her opening seven holes on the back nine and totaled a team-best four birdies on the day.
Martin, TCU's lone senior in the lineup, posted all three of her birdies in an eight-hole stretch. She recorded par on her final hole.
Brooke McDougald had three birdies en route to a 77 for the Horned Frogs, while Annika Clark added a pair of birdies.
Texas won the team championship with Iowa State's Celia Barquin Arozamena the individual medalist.
