AMES, Iowa – The TCU men's and women's cross country teams will continue their seasons at the Big 12 Championship meet on Friday, Oct. 26, at the Iowa State Cross Country Course.
MEET INFO
The women's 6,000m race is scheduled for 10 a.m. with the men's 8,000m to follow at 11 a.m. A live stream of the meet will be available via FloTrack. Delta Timing will provide live results, including splits and updates on the team standings as the race progresses.
The women's field is led by No. 17 ranked Iowa State. Oklahoma State has spent much of the season in USTFCCCA's top 30, but currently sits at No. 31. On the men's side, Iowa State leads the conference as well with the No. 6 ranking in the latest national poll. Oklahoma State's men rank No. 23.
LAST TIME OUT
TCU last competed at the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M, where the Horned Frogs faced several Big 12, SEC, and South Central region teams. Evelyn Mandel, Kirsten Johnston, and Lindsay Tomaini were the top three finishers on the women's side. Johnston finished in 21:47.3, her best mark of the season. Freshman trio Sean Byrne, Lakelin Conrad, and Blaine Stuart were the top finishers on the men's side.
