TCU will host two straight home matches starting with No. 4 Texas on Wednesday.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Two straight home matches will kick-off week three of Big 12 Conference action as the TCU volleyball team will start by hosting No. 4 Texas on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m., in a sold-out match at The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center.
The 16th meeting all-time between the Horned Frogs (10-4, 2-1 Big 12) and the Longhorns (8-3, 3-0 Big 12) will air live on ESPNU with Paul Sunderland and Nell Fortner on the call. The showdown is also the team's "Dig Pink" match and all fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of all cancer awareness.
Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed

-The back row is being patrolled Lexi MacLean, Berklie Baker and Dani Dennison as the trio are picking up everything with 3.62, 2.66 and 2.46 digs per set, respectively

-Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Micaya White leads the Longhorns with 3.63 kills per set on a .312 hitting clip and is also picking up 2.46 digs per set
-Two freshmen are also helping offensively in Logan Eggleston (2.78 k/s) and Brionne Butler (2.44 k/s) while senior Morgan Johnson is good for 1.76 kills per set
-Ashley Shook is back again for Texas as setter with the sophomore good for 10.85 assists per set to go along with 1.85 digs per set and 0.66 blocks per set
-Texas is leading the conference and sits at No. 4 nationally with a .304 hitting clip and is not slouching on defense with 2.72 blocks per set which ranked No. 18 nationally
Recap: at Kansas State
-A strong offensive performance along with six team service aces led the TCU volleyball team to win No. 10 this season as the Horned Frogs scored a 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-12, 25-22) victory over Kansas State on Saturday night
-The Frogs took the first point and never looked back in the opening set against the Wildcats as they capped off the 25-22 victory with a kill from Lexi MacLean
-TCU struggled in the second set, as Kansas State was able to steal it but the Frogs did not stay down for long
-élan McCall and Anna Walsh helped TCU take back control the final two sets as the duo combined for 18 kills to help the Frogs win the match in four
-McCall continued her dominance on offense with 21 kills in the match to lead TCU with Walsh chipping in 16 kills-
Katie Clark was able to put down nine kills for the Frogs with Sarah Swanson also contributing with eight kills
