Goertzen Named Big 12 Runner of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Brenley Goertzen of women's cross country has been named Big 12 Runner of the Week.
Goertzen, who made her season debut on Saturday, finished second at the Texas A&M Invitational, finishing in 20:36.1. Not only is this the first weekly honor of her career, it's TCU cross country's first since 2013.
Goertzen and the women's cross country team's season continues on Friday, Sept. 29, when they travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational.
