
Mazzoli in Third Entering Final Round

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Junior Stefano Mazzoli finished the first two rounds of the Ram Masters Invitational in third place Monday in Fort Collins, Colo.
Mazzoli led the TCU men's golf team over both rounds at Fort Collins Country Club. The Italian shot 2-under 68 in round one and 3-under 67 in round two. At 5-under 135, Mazzoli stands three shots back of the leader, Francois Lagraulet of UMKC (8-under 132).
Junior Turner MacLean shot even-par 70 for both rounds. He is tied for 12th place at even-par 140. MacLean has shot 70 in all five rounds played this season after doing so three times at The Carmel Cup, Sept. 1-3, when par was 72.
Junior Pierre Mazier followed a first-round score of 1-over 71 with a second round of 2-over 73. At 4-over 144, he is tied for 31st place.
Juniors Triston Fisher and Hayden Springer are tied for 41st place at 7-over 147.
As a team, TCU shot 5-over 565 over the two rounds and is in third place. The host school, Colorado State leads the tournament after shooting 12-under 548, including a tournament record 12-under 268 in the first round.
