
Mazzoli Finishes Third at Ram Masters

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Junior Stefano Mazzoli finished third at the Ram Masters Invitational Tuesday in Fort Collins, Colo.
Mazzoli led the TCU men's golf team in the final round, shooting even-par 70 after two sub-70 rounds on Monday at Fort Collins Country Club. He finished 5-under 205 for the tournament, four shots behind champion Francois Lagraulet of UMKC (9-under 201).
For the first time this season, junior Turner MacLean shot a number that wasn't 70 after carding 1-over 71. The Fort Worth native shot 70 all three rounds at The Carmel Cup to open the season and 70 during both rounds on Monday.
Junior Pierre Mazier finished tied for 31st after shooting 7-over 217. Juniors Triston Fisher and Hayden Springer are tied for 36th place at 8-over 218.
As a team, TCU shot 8-over 848 and finished in fourth place out of 19 teams. The host school, Colorado State won the tournament at 17-under 823.
TCU will next compete at the Nike Collegiate Invite in North Plains, Ore.
