TCU to Host Horned Frogs Challenge

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU beach volleyball team is set for its lone weekend of home action this season as the Horned Frogs welcome three top-15 ranked opponents for the Horned Frogs Challenge on March 24-25 at the TCU Beach Volleyball Courts.
The Horned Frogs (7-3), who are receiving votes in the AVCA poll and ranked No. 17 in the DIG Magazine poll this week, will begin the two-day tournament with No. 7/7 Arizona State on Friday at 10 a.m., before facing No. 8/8 LSU at 2:30 p.m. TCU will conclude the tournament with a match against No. 11/12 Arizona State on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. Admission is free to all the matches this weekend, while the first 500 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a free TCU beach volleyball tank top.
TCU is coming off a 4-2 showing in California on its spring break road trip last week including wins over No. 10 Arizona State and No. 15 Cal Poly. The top pair of Amy Neal and Jaelyn Greene lead the way this season with a 7-3 mark, while Jillian Bergeson and Avery Arellano along with Sarita Mikals and Ariah Palter both have six wins.
Following the home tournament, TCU will hit the road for Irvine, Calif., for the Irvine Valley College Tournament on Sunday, March 26 as they are set to face host Irvine Valley College, No. 5/5 Hawaii and No. 19 Stanford.
