
No. 9 TCU Falls 12-7 in Aggieland

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 9 TCU Equestrian team fell 12-7 to the No. 4 ranked Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, finishing out the regular season with an overall record of 5-8.
The Aggies improve to 8-4 to finish their regular season.

The Rundown
On the Hunt Seat side, the Frogs took Equitation over Fences 3-2 thanks to juniors Jayme Omand and Carley Barnett and freshman Patty Gill. This is Gill's first point in her young career and it's also her highest-scoring ride with an 89 in her ride on Vivaldi.
In Equitation on the Flat, TCU fell 4-1 in some close rides against the Aggies. Senior Kari Hancock earned the lone point for the Purple and White with a 77-point ride on Callisto against Maddie Swem's 70. Her ride earned her the title of MOP for Equitation on the Flat. This is Hancock's third MOP.
On the Western side, the Aggies took Horsemanship 4-1 in another batch of close-scoring rides. Freshman Jamie Cook had the Frogs' lone point with a 72.5-point ride on Snuffy.
In Reining, freshmen Carly Lombard and Claire Dittrich both won their points, Lombard's coming after a reride. Dittrich's point is the second of her young career, and it is her highest-scoring ride in her career at 73 points. This was also Lombard's highest-scoring ride in her career with a 73.5-point ride, which earned her the MOP. Senior Carley Montemuro was granted a reride but came to a draw with A&M's Madison Bohman at 72.5, Montemuro's new season-high score.
