
No. 10 TCU Victorious on Senior Day

SPRINGTOWN, Texas -- The No. 10 TCU equestrian upended No. 5 Fresno State on Saturday, 12-6, at Turning Point Ranch. The Frogs honored their eight seniors following the meet, but those seniors will ride one more time on their home turf when No. 8 South Carolina visits on Sunday.
The Rundown
On the Hunt Seat side, the Frogs started off with a 2-2 tie in Equitation over Fences after seniors Molly Peddicord and Kari Hancock won their points on Java and Conner. Peddicord had an 83-77 decision against the Bulldog's Paige Pastorino on her way to earning an MOP accolade for her performance.
TCU finished off the Hunt Seat side with a 4-0 win over Fresno State in Equitation on the Flat thanks to Peddicord, Jayme Omand, Emelie Burgess and Carley Barnett. Hancock seemed to have won her point but ended with a draw against Natalie Wendt at 81. Barnett claimed an MOP accolade against Madelyn Keck with a score of 79.
On the Western side, the Purple and White went 2-3 in Reining with senior Brooke Boyle and freshman Carly Lombard both winning their points for the Frogs.
In Horsemanship, Laska Anderson started the Frogs off with a 74.5 against Fresno State's Taylor Brown en route to earning herself an MOP accolade and a point for the Frogs. Marah Huston, Megan McMullen and Josie Mootz also won their points, leading the Frogs to a 4-1 win.
