FORT WORTH – Seven members of the TCU women's cross country team will compete at the NCAA South Central Region Championship for a chance to qualify for nationals. The meet is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 10, in College Station, Texas.
The women's 6000-meter race starts at 9:15 a.m. CT. Among those competing for TCU will be Brenley Goertzen, Nicole Hicks, Evelyn Mandel, Lindsay Tomaini, Elizabeth Baker, Kelly Fairchild, and Molly Hamel.
At last year's South Central Region championship, Goertzen finished sixth overall and earned a spot at the national meet.
The field is highlighted by No.6 ranked Arkansas, Abilene Christian, Texas, and Baylor, among others.
