Barjon Leading Frogs in Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- TCU senior Paul Barjon is tied for 12th place following the second day of play at the 41st annual Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Barjon shot 73 on the second day of competition at the prestigious spring event that features all ranked teams. The event is regularly ranked as the No. 1 tournament in all of collegiate golf in strength of schedule by Golfweek. The tournament field includes Alabama, Arizona State, California, Florida, Illinois, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, UNLV and USC.
Barjon carded four birdies and is even par for the tournament through 36 holes. He is two-under par on par fives on the week thus far entering Wednesday's final 18 holes.
TCU's next three on the leaderboard either matched or improved on their opening round scores on Tuesday as newcomer Stefano Mazzoli improved his play by one stroke and stands in a tie for 48th place. Chelso Barrett matched his opening round score of 77 while Sarosh Adi improved by five strokes on moving day to card a 75.
Play concludes in Vegas on Wednesday as the Frogs continues to work towards a 27th consecutive NCAA Regionals appearance this spring.
