No. 6 TCU Dominates No. 7 Fresno State, 14-6

SPRINGTOWN, Texas -- No. 6 TCU claimed two MOP accolades en route to a 14-6 dismantling of No. 7 Fresno State Friday at Turning Point Ranch.
The Rundown
On the Hunt Seat side, TCU took home both MOP honors with Nicole Diamantis earning MOP honors in Equitation on the Flat and Molly Peddicord claiming accolades in Equitation over Fences. Diamantis dropped Alex Dirickson, 86-64, to post her second MOP ride of the year. Jayme Omand, Emelie Burgess and Peddicord rounded out the Horned Frog notables in the discipline, upending Genna Fogelberg, Sierra Swaffar and Kylina Chalack, respectively.
In Equitation over Fences, Peddicord remained undefeated on the season at 8-0, dropping Dani Schneider, 85-83. Carley Barnett followed, upending Alex Dirickson, 86-74, while Emery Hanson and Diamantis downed Kylina Chalack and Sierra Swaffar, respectively.
On the Western side, Chantz Stewart improved to 8-0 in Reining by defeating Aly Frias, 72-70.5. Hunter DeJane took the other point in the discipline, dropping Taylor Dixon, 71-69.
In Horsemanship, TCU had a stellar outing as the Frogs claimed four out of the five points. Lacy Bohn, Alex Stark, Erin Gillette and Megan McMullen were all victorious for the Purple and White.

"We're very pleased with the outcome today and had lots of really strong rides. We did have some little mental mistakes that we can fix as we prepare next week for Baylor, but overall it was a really great start to the spring season and we're really happy with how the horses and people performed."
