
TCU Sits Atop The Leaderboard

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Four Horned Frogs were in the top 10 individually as the TCU women's golf team held an eight-stroke lead after Monday's opening round of the Greenville Regional Preview in Greenville, N.C.
Second-round play was suspended with teams having between 2-4 holes to complete. At the time of the suspension, TCU had extended its lead to 11 shots over Clemson. Tuesday will have the completion of the second round as well as final-round play.
Brooke Graebe, Kelly McGovern and Annika Clark carded 2-over-par 74s in first-round play for the Horned Frogs and were tied for fifth individually, three strokes off the pace set by Virginia Tech's Jessica Spicer and Kansas State's Connie Jaffrey.
Graebe had a team-best four birdies, including two of her final three holes. McGovern and Clark both had two birdies.
TCU junior Emmy Martin is tied for 10th after a 75. The Odessa, Fla., native totaled three birdies.
Sabina Pena recorded an eagle on the par 5, 420-yard hole No. 2 for the Horned Frogs.
