The Horned Frogs are riding a two-match winning streak after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Maryland on Friday night. The Frogs scored a pair of second half goals to erase a 1-0 deficit, rallying for their second straight win. Michelle Prokof scored the equalizer in the 50th minute, while Faith Carter's first career goal in the 87th minute stood up as the game winner. In goal, Shannon Coffer made four stops to pick up the victory.
ABOUT ORAL ROBERTS
The Golden Eagles were set to play Oklahoma on Friday night, but a power outage in the 54th minute caused the game to be declared a no-contest. Oklahoma had been leading 1-0 on a penalty kick goal in the 30th minute at the time the game was called. Oral Roberts comes into the match with a 2-0-1 record. Ten different Golden Eagles have picked up goals for Oral Roberts. Ashley Martin leads the way with two goals.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's meeting with Oral Roberts will be the eighth in the series. TCU holds a 6-1 series lead. The last time the Horned Frogs and the Golden Eagles met on the pitch came back on Sept. 3, 2006 when the Frogs won 6-2 in Tulsa. Oral Roberts lone win in the series came on Oct. 3, 1997 when it won 2-0 in Tulsa. TCU is 3-0 against Oral Rorberts in Fort Worth.
