Smith was named to the all-tournament team last week after recording 48 kills and 40 digs in three games at the SMU Doubletree Invitational. The League City native led the offensive attack for TCU, finishing the weekend with 3.69 kills per set and 3.08 digs per set.
The Frogs have moved to (10-2) on the season and open Big 12 play tonight at No. 2 Texas. The game will be aired live on the Longhorn Network at 7 p.m.
Norrie, the No. 15 ranked player in the nation, won the singles crown in the first national collegiate championship of the season. In the final singles round of the Oracle/ITA Masters, Norrie defeated No. 7 Nicolas Alvarez of Duke (6-3, 7-2) in a tiebreaker.
TCU returns to action on Sept. 24 to compete in the Cajun Tennis Classic in Lafayette, La.
