TCU is riding a four-match winning streak and is a perfet 3-0 at home this season. The Horned Frogs picked up their second straight 4-0 victory on Friday with a defeat of Abilene Christian. Michelle Prokof has been on a goal-scoring tear. She has four goals in the last two matches and five in the last three. Since taking over in goal, Shannon Coffer has allowed just one goal while posting three shutouts.
ABOUT NORTH TEXAS
The Mean Green enter Sunday's match with a 6-1 record after a dismantling of Lamar in a 6-0 win on Friday night. North Texas' lone set-back this season was a 2-1 loss to Kansas. Since then, goalkeeper Jackie Kerestine and company have not allowed a goal, outscoring their opponents 12-0. Rachel Holden leads the Mean Green with five goals this season.
ABOUT THE SERIES
TCU holds a 6-2 series lead in the series, but both losses have come in Fort Worth. Sunday's meeting will mark the fourth straight year the two team's will do battle. TCU is 2-1 in that stretch with both victories coming in Denton. The Horned Frogs took a 1-0 victory a year ago. North Texas tallied a 2-0 win over TCU in Fort Worth in 2013.
