TCU is still searching for its first win of the 2015 season after dropping a 5-2 decision at Illinois on Friday night. The Horned Frogs were led offensively by Michelle Prokof, who tallied a goal and an assist in the loss. Emma Heckendorn also scored, while Faith Carter picked up her first career point with an assist on Prokof's goal.
ABOUT THE REDBIRDS
New head coach Eric Golz picked up his first victory as Illinois State defeated Milwaukee 3-1 Friday night. Brooke Ksiazek, Brianne Richards and Keely Theobald were the goal scorers for the Redbirds. Vanessa Niestrom made three saves on four shots in goal.
SERIES HISTORY
TCU and Illinois State have met on the pitch just once, back in 2013. Illinois State holds a 1-0-0 series lead after handing TCU a 2-1 defeat in Fort Worth on Sept. 6, 2013.
