FORT WORTH - TCU soccer senior defender Bobbi Clemmer was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 soccer team for the third straight season. She is a three-time all-conference performer, earning all-newcomer accolades as a freshman, first-team honors in 2013 and second-team recognition in 2014.
Last year, Clemmer was the lone Horned Frog to play in all 1,772 minutes. She tallied six points (one goal, four assists) in 19 games while helping TCU post a miniscule 0.96 goals against average.
In 2013, Clemmer became the first Horned Frog since Jordan Calhoun in 2010 to earn first-team all-conference honors. She played in and started 18 of TCU's 19 matches.
Clemmer has played in and started 57 games in her career. She has scored two goals and tallied nine assists over the last three seasons.
The 2015 regular season gets underway on Aug. 21 in Columbia, Mo. with a meeting against 2014 NCAA participant Missouri. The game will be televised on the SEC Network and the Watch ESPN app at 6:30 p.m.
