EUGENE, Oregon – The only event for the Horned Frogs on Thursday at the NCAA Championships was Brianna McGhee in the women's 100-meter hurdles.
Running in heat one, the junior from Omaha, Nebraska, picked up a seventh-place finish in her heat, clocking in at a time of 13.32 seconds. The time earned her Honorable Mention All-America accolades for the first time in her career.
Her finish ends what was a tremendous season for McGhee, who became the school record holder in the event at the NCAA West Prelims thanks to a time of 13.24 seconds.
When the Horned Frogs return to the track tomorrow, they'll have their sights set on gold. Less than an hour later, Listenbee will be back for the 100-meter final after winning his heat on Wednesday with a personal-best of 10.04 seconds. He is slated to run at 5:25 PDT/7:25 CDT.
