TCU Women's Golf 10th at NCAA Regional

ST. GEORGE, Utah -- TCU women's golf shot a 302 and remains 10th after Friday's second round of the NCAA Regional.
The Horned Frogs lowered their score by 11 strokes from Thursday's opening round.
The top-six teams after Saturday's final round advance to the NCAA Championships from May 22-27 in Bradenton, Fla. TCU is 10 shots behind sixth-place UNLV.
With a 2-over-par 73, Kelly McGovern was the top Horned Frog on Friday. The sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas, shot par on 16 holes, including the entire back nine. McGovern is tied for 24th individually at 9-over 151.
TCU senior Alexandra Bonetti posted a 74 and is tied for 15th at 149. Bonetti had a birdie en route to shooting par on the back nine.
Kortnie Maxoutopoulis, who shot a 77, birdied two of her opening five holes en route to a team-best three birdies on the day.
Emmy Martin and Chaney Uhles both recorded 78s for TCU. Martin was even par on the front nine and birdied her final hole.
