
Horned Frogs Begin Play at NCAA Regional

ST. GEORGE, Utah -- TCU women's golf, making its 19th postseason appearance in the last 20 years, is tied for 10th after Thursday's opening round of the NCAA Regional.
The Horned Frogs shot a 29-over-par 313. The top-six teams after Saturday's final round advance to the NCAA Championships on May 22-27 in Bradenton, Fla. TCU is just eight strokes behind sixth-place New Mexico State.
Alexandra Bonetti led the Horned Frogs with a 4-over 75. The senior from Paris, France, is tied for 16th individually. Bonetti had a birdie and shot par on 13 holes.
Sophomore Kelly McGovern added a 78 for TCU. She recorded par on 12 holes in addition to a birdie.
Chaney Uhles led the Horned Frogs with two birdies.
