DOHA, Qatar – TCU track and field greats Lorraine Ugen and Kim Collins shined bright in the opening of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Diamond League on Friday, May, 15, in Doha, Qatar.
Competing in the long jump, Ugen landed at a distance of 6.92m (22-8.5), giving her a new personal-best in the event and earning her fourth overall. The mark smashed her previous wind-legal best of 6.77m (22-2.5) set on June 5, 2013, in Eugene, Oregon.
During her time at TCU, Ugen won two national titles and one Big 12 championship in the long jump.

Collins claimed two national titles during his time at TCU, the 60 and 200 meters in 2001.
