TCU Jumps to Third Heading into Final Round

The Horned Frogs fired a 7-over round of 287 to move two spots at 37-over, eight strokes behind Texas Tech in second place. Texas leads the field at 9-over.
Senior Andrew Presley matched his first-round score with another 1-under 69 to move four spots into sixth overall at 5-over, eight strokes behind the tournament leader. The Fort Worth native rolled in four birdies in his third trip through the course, including two of the last five holes.
Sophomore Giulio Castagnara fired an ever-par 70 to move 10 spots into the top 20 overall. The Pordenone, Italy, native sank two birdies on the first four holes of a flawless back nine.
Senior Julien Brun carded a 3-over 73 and remains in the top 10 individually in eighth spot at 6-over. Brun enters the final round in search of his third-straight Big 12 Championship top-10 showing.
Chelso Barrett and Paul Barjon rounded out the scoring for the Horned Frogs with rounds of 75 and 76, respectively.
