
TCU Completes Round Two at NIT

TUCSON, Ariz. - The TCU men's golf team competed in the second round of the National Invitational Tournament at the Catalina Course on Sunday, closing play in eighth place.
The Horned Frogs fell three spots on the second day with a 7-over 295 but sit just five strokes out of fifth place heading into Monday's final round.
Sophomore Chelso Barrett posted his 10th round of par or better this season with a 2-under 70 to lead TCU on Sunday. The Keene, N.H., native rolled in three birdies with just one miscue on the back nine and is in 12th place overall at 1-under.
Junior Paul Barjon just missed extending his streak of seven rounds of par or better with a 1-over 73 and remains in the top 20, while Giulio Castagnara (75), Andrew Presley (77) and Julien Brun (78) rounded out the scoring for the Frogs.
