Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information
• TCU improved to 7-2 on the season with the win while Stephen F. Austin falls to 4-5 on the year.
• The Frogs have won four of their last five games.
• TCU is now 4-1 all-time against SFA with the loss coming during the 1996-97 season.
Team Notes
• TCU shot 61.5 percent in the game, hitting 32-of-52 shots in the contest, to set a new school record for field goal percentage in a game. The previous record was a 61.2 percent effort against McMurry on Nov. 22, 1996.
o It was just the fourth time in program history that the Frogs have shot 60.0 percent or better in a game and the first time since the 2010-11 season.
• TCU converted on 20-of-28 shots in the opening half for a 71.4 percent clip.
o TCU shot over 60.0 percent in a half for the fourth time in the Raegan Pebley era but for the first time in the opening half of a contest. The Frogs shot 60.5 percent in the second half against Iowa State last season on Jan. 7, 2015 and 60.0 percent against Oklahoma in the second half last season on Jan. 17, 2015.
o TCU's best shooting half of the season was previously their 61.5 percent effort (16-of-26) in the second half against New Orleans on Nov. 15, 2015.
o TCU's best shooting first half of the season was previously their 55.0 percent effort (22-of-40) in the first half at SMU on Nov. 18, 2015.
• TCU led 49-18 at the halftime break for a 31-point advantage. It was the fifth time this season that TCU had led by at least 20 points at the halftime break.
• The Frogs made their first four shots of the game en route to an early 11-4 lead.
• TCU had a 19-0 run in the opening quarter as Stephen F. Austin was held without a point for a span of 8:02. The Frogs later added a run of 13-0.
• TCU has scored at least 80 points on five occasions this season, including two straight.
• TCU is now 10-1 when scoring at least 80 points during the Pebley era.
• TCU has hit at least eight three-point field goals in five-of-six home games this season.
• The Frogs have won 12 consecutive games at home, the third longest streak in program history. It trails only a 27-game streak that spanned the 2008-09 through 2010-11 seasons and a 18-game streak from the 2005-06 through 2006-07 seasons.
• TCU is now 214-53 at home since the start of the 1999-2000 season.
• TCU improved to 6-0 on the season at home.
• TCU improved to 21-3 at the University Recreation Center over the last two seasons. The game with Notre Dame on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT will mark the final game in the URC before moving to the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on Dec. 20 when the Frogs face Southern Utah.
o The Frogs have defeated Stephen F. Austin twice during that span in the University Recreation Center.
Individual Notes
• Freshman Jordan Moore had 11 points, reaching double figures for the second consecutive game and for the fifth time this season.
o Moore scored eight of TCU's first 11 points to open the game. o Moore had multiple blocks in eight-of-nine games this season.
o Moore had a career best three steals.
• Sophomore AJ Alix had 13 points, nine assists and five steals.
o Alix scored in double figures for the fourth time this season and the sixth time in her career.
o Alix had a career high nine assists, breaking her previous high of six assists against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 24, 2015.
o Alix had at least five assists in a game for the second time this season and in her career.
• Senior Zahna Medley finished with 11 points.
o Medley has dished out multiple assists in 12 consecutive games. o Medley reached double figures for the 79th time in her career and eighth time this season.
• Sophomore Toree Thompson had 14 points.
o Thompson reached double figures for the fifth time this season. o Thompson has hit four three point field goals or more in three games this season.
• Senior Caitlin Diaz had a career high 11 points in 18 minutes.
o Diaz scored in double figures for the first time in her career, besting her career high of nine achieved against Texas Tech on Feb. 8, 2015.
Coaching Notes
• In her second year at TCU, head coach Raegan Pebley is now 25-16 as the leader of the Horned Frogs. She is now 181-191 in 13 seasons as a head coach.
• TCU is now 16-6 in non-conference games during the Pebley era.
