| TCU Moderator: Welcome to today's online chat. We'll be with you shortly. |
| Chris (Dallas): How's the progress of the basketball arena coming along? |
Chris Del Conte: Its fantastic. We're progressing and on schedule. |
| John (Ft Worth): Since Bob Stoops is lobbying for an end of year game and both schools are open would TCU consider moving our game next year to the last weekend? This is a marquee game which based on this year would help. Also gives us an open date prior to Baylor a great opportunity and 8 days before Oklahoma. |
Chris Del Conte: Our schedule has been set, but it is something that we will discuss as our conference meetings this spring. |
| Jeff (League City): Thanks for keeping everyone cool the past couple of days. Awesome regular football season. Let's build off the 'Amp it Up' theme for this coming season and bowl game instead of a new theme. I wouldn't change anything just add to it. 1st class job so far in 2014-2015. I brought SEC and ACC alums to our home games this year, they thought our production is AWESOME. |
Chris Del Conte: Thank you for the support and kind words. |
| Matt (Denver): So proud of the Frogs! What TCU is accomplishing in many sports is extremely impressive. You lead a great team! My wife is set to deliver twins in late Dec. early Jan and we can't make the bowl. Is there an Atlanta-based charity TCU has teamed up with so alums who can't make the trip can support the Frogs by buying tix to be donated to local youth, military, etc? |
Chris Del Conte: yes, buy as many tickets as you want and we will get them into the hands of the right individuals. |
| David-Mineral Wells: I cannot believe there was not a tribute, moment of silence or even mention on the passing of the great Jim Swink before or during the Iowa State game at the stadium. TCU should be ashamed for that. No. 23 should be retired, or at least never worn again by a TCU running back. Your thoughts please. |
Chris Del Conte: I am sorry for not doing a moment of silence. We placed a sticker on the back of our helmet as a tribute to the legend of Jim Swink. |
| Houston: Good Morning Chris. Love our football team and extreamly proud of the great year they have had. My question is about the future of our wonderful band. Any plans in the future of expanding to a bigger size? Love to listen to them but would love to see a bigger presence in the stands. Thank you, and Go Frogs! |
Chris Del Conte: Thank you for acknowledging our terrific band. We are currently working with our campus leadership on how to expand in the upcoming years. |
| Meredith (Fort Worth): Haven't seen a lot of students at the men's basketball games. Would a shuttle help? |
Chris Del Conte: I anticipate our student attendance picking up during league play, but I am contemplating providing a shuttle when we get to Big 12 games. |
| Michael in Jackson, TX: Chris,
Interested on getting your thoughts on Non-Conference scheduling (FCS vs FBS teams).
Do you see any upcoming changes with removing FCS teams? |
Chris Del Conte: We have a great Power 5 home slate with Arkansas, Ohio State and Cal in the coming years. As always we will evaluate our schedule on a yearly basis to see what adjustments need to be made. |
| Rickey(Mineral Wells): Does TCU Athletics plan on redistributing parking passes, based upon priority points, across all of the Football parking lots because of the renovations to lot 5 and the new garage? If not, how is the process fair to those that have parked in lot 5 for years? |
Chris Del Conte: We are in the process of determining this exact issue. I will let you know as our plan progresses, but I do anticipate the priority points being a part of the process. |
| Jeff (League City): Can we send the team with a large purple new Big XII logo flag to run behind when they run in at the Georgia Dome for the Peach Bowl? We are carrying our conference's banner for this bowl season and it would be appropriate. |

Chris Del Conte: I haven't thought about that, but its a great suggestion. |
| Damon (Burleson): What a great time to be a Frog! What is on your Christmas list, besides a National Championship? |
Chris Del Conte: A Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Win! |
| Ryan(Houston): Any chance we can get an away game to Hawaii worked into the schedule for 2015? If we dropped our FCS opponent and added a P5 with the 13th game allowed when playing Hawaii it could be the 13th game equalizer without a conference championship game |
Chris Del Conte: Unfortunately, 2015 is booked, but I do like your thinking. |
| Ferris (Chicago): Is there a better men's basketball media relations director in the country than Matt Hoover? |
Chris Del Conte: No, Matt Hoover is the best. |
| Michael Ft. Worth: Several TCU fans are selling their allotted tickets and purchasing others due to location. Is there a chance in the future bowls better tickets can be through the University? |
Chris Del Conte: Unfortunately, no as each bowl game pre-determines the allotment they send to each team. |
| Aaron (San Antonio): Not a question, just a comment for you. Chris, despite all of the complaints, special requests and demands you hear from TCU fans, always remember that the Horned Frog Nation recognizes and values your contributions to our University. Your leadership, communication style, and decision-making is unparalleled. TCU is a better institution because of you, and we thank you for it! Go Frogs! Roll Toad! |
Chris Del Conte: I am totally blessed and honored to serve the TCU community. |
| Ben (Fort Worth): What do you see as the possibility for the Big12 to develop a 13th game on the final weekend of the season either through expansion or getting a waiver to have a championship game with only 10 teams? Or is there another option that I haven't mentioned? |
Chris Del Conte: This is our first year going through the college football playoff system, so I don't anticipate us pressing the panic button just yet. However, I do understand the public perception of not having a championship game. These are all decisions that will be discussed during our spring meetings. There is no quick and easy answer. |
| TCU Moderator: That is all the questions we have for today. Thank you for taking the time to talk with us. |
