Future Horned Frogs Honored Wednesday

FORT WORTH, Texas - Incoming newcomers A.J. Alix and Carol Willie were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A all-state squad this week.
Alix, who closed out her high school career scoring 41 points against Clear Springs, and future teammate Klara Bradshaw also picked up Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-state and all-region accolades.
Willie and Bradshaw were both selected for the TGCA All-Star Game, which will take place this July. The duo will look to follow in the footsteps of freshman Veja Hamilton who earned MVP honors last summer in the contest.
