Crawford Out For 2011-12 Season

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU junior forward Starr Crawford has been ruled out for the 2011-12 season due to a recent concussion.
Crawford, who recently earned preseason all-conference accolades, was a second team all-conference selection in 2010-11. She was the top returning rebounder in the league at 9.7 per game, ranking 36th in the nation and recorded eight double-doubles as a sophomore. The Arlington native was the only player to average double-digits in points (12.7) and rebounds (10.0) per game last season in the Mountain West and was TCU's leading scorer returning this winter after averaging 12.0 points per game.
TCU will open its season on Nov. 11 at Georgia. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. CT. The Frogs will host Cameron in an exhibition on Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
