TCU Quartet Leads WPSL Squad To Championship

EDMOND, Okla. - Jordan Calhoun netted a first half goal this past weekend to lead Oklahoma Alliance of the WPSL to the Big Sky Conference Championship.

Calhoun, a junior from Oklahoma, scored in the 44th minute, punching the ball into the upper half of the net, to advance Oklahoma Alliance past Phoenix Del Sol into the 2010 Women's Premier Soccer League Final Four.

Overall, Calhoun, Chelsea Cody, Kaylie Garcia and Kelsey Walters all earned championship accolades at the ESC Complex.

TCU will open its regular season on Aug. 20 at Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs are coming off a season in which they played in the Mountain West Conference Tournament for a third-straight season.
