FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's tennis program is amongst the nation's best in home attendance this spring, ranking No. 10 in average home crowds through the month of March in the 2010 ITA Attendance Race.
The Horned Frogs have averaged 120 fans through the first six home matches of the spring. TCU enjoyed solid attendance numbers last weekend for Mountain West Conference action and Senior Day, but those figures were not a part of latest rankings because they occurred in April. The highest attended match for the Frogs came on Feb. 17 against SMU, supporting 176 fans.
TCU currently boasts a pair of nationally-ranked singles players in No. 63 Nina Munch-Soegaard and No. 90 Kayla Duncan. Munch-Soegaard currently ranks seventh in TCU history with 88 career singles victories.
The Frogs will hit the road to challenge No. 16 Miami on March 15 in Coral Gables, Fla., before returning home to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center to host Virginia Commonwealth on March 18.
