TEAM NOTES
• TCU recorded 64 rebounds overall, which is the fourth-most in school history. The Frogs were only three rebounds shy from breaking the all-time school record, which is 66 and was set in both 1987 and 1983.
• TCU has now won two-straight over the Mustangs. The Horned Frogs are 8-5 against SMU under head coach Jeff Mittie.
• Wednesday night's game was only the fourth overtime game between SMU and TCU.
• TCU moved to 16-19 all-time in overtime games in program history.
• The Horned Frogs played their first overtime game since upending Utah, 105-96, in four overtimes last spring.
• With the 87-73 win Wednesday night, TCU moved to 2-0 on the season for a third-straight year.
• TCU has now won 23-straight at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, while head coach Jeff Mittie moved to 70-9 since the start of the 2005-06 season at the DMC.
PLAYER NOTES
• Emily Carter set a school record Wednesday night with 43 points, breaking Amy Sutton Porter's previous record of 39 set against Air Force in 1999.
• Carter, who has now totaled back-to-back career-highs in points, has scored at least 20 points in a game now 10 times.
• Carter attempted 10 shots behind the arc against the Mustangs, which ties a career high for most three's attempted in a single game.
• Carter went 16-of-16 at the charity stripe, which is a personal-best in both attempts and free throws made. She has now gone seven-straight games without missing a free throw.
• Carter's 16 free throws were the most made in a game without a miss in school history. The previous record was set by Amy Sutton Porter in 1998 against UT Pan American.
• Starr Crawford posted a career-high 18 rebounds Wednesday night, which is tied for the seventh-most in a single game in school history.
• Crawford recorded her seventh double-double of her career Wednesday night with 18 rebounds and 13 points.
