Sept. 21, 2009
The TCU women's basketball program will hold its annual coaches' clinic on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Frogs' on-campus basketball facilities. The event, led by Lady Frog head coach Jeff Mittie, is aimed at sharing coaching philosophies through clinic sessions, in addition to a TCU practice setting.
The Lady Frog coaches' clinic will focus on several areas, including: guard play and development drills; special plays and basketball basics; post play and development drills; and strength/athletic training tips.
The clinic will be held from 2:30 p.m. through 6 p.m. at the Ed & Rae Schollmaier Basketball Complex and Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, followed immediately by a reception dinner for those coaches with paid registration. Walk-up cost for the clinic is $50, although coaches are encouraged to register by the early deadline of Friday, Oct. 16, for a discounted rate of $40. Registration fee includes admission to the clinic, coach's packet and dinner. Additional coaches from the same staff will receive a half-price registration fee of $25.
Coaches interested in attending this year's clinic should download the registration brochure by following the link at the top of this page, or call the TCU women's basketball office at (817) 257-792 for more information.
