TCU women's tennis head coach Jefferson Hammond announced the addition of former Big 12 standout and current professional Anna Lubinsky as the volunteer assistant coach on August 27, 2008. Lubinsky played at Texas A&M from 2003-07 and was the first player in Aggie history to move from Line 6 to Line 1, earning the Line 1 Singles Big 12 Championship in 2007.
"We are so happy to have Anna on staff," Hammond said. "She had a remarkable career at Texas A&M and she is steadily climbing higher in the world rankings. Her leadership and work ethic will help make our team better. We feel very lucky to have a player of her caliber on our staff."
While at TAMU, Lubinsky was nationally-ranked as high as No. 17 in singles play and No. 22 in doubles competition. She was the Southwest Regional champion in 2006 and was named the ITA Southwest Region Senior Player of the Year in 2007. She was also a two-time winner of the coveted Churchwell Aggie Heart Award (2006, 2007). In 2005, she was the ITA Summer Circuit Player of the Year and a Strength Training All-American.

She also received the Sportsmanship Award at the Baylor Medical Pro Classic in June 2007. Currently ranked No. 798, Lubinsky has professional wins over players ranked as high as No. 300, No. 425, No. 445, No. 505, No. 536 and No. 655 in the world.
