FORT WORTH, Texas - With the 2008 season upcoming, GoFrogs.com recently sat down with TCU midfielder Michelle Nguyen to get her thoughts on the Horned Frogs in 2008.
What are you doing this summer for the upcoming season?
"So far this summer, I've been training and playing for the Fort Worth WPSL team."
What do you expect this season from the team?
"I expect us to have a great season. I heard the freshman class coming in is fantastic and the returning players have all been working hard."
What are your goals for the upcoming season, both individually and for the team?
"I believe our goal is to finish at the top of the MWC and advance to the NCAA tournament. Individually, I would like to help the team make it to the top."
What do you like to do off the field?
"I just love to relax off the field. I'm always with my friends hanging out and watching television."
If you could be on a television show for one day, what would it be and why?
"I would love to be on Friends. I love the show and think all the actors and actresses are amazing."
Who is you favorite soccer player and why?
"My favorite soccer player would have to be Zinedine Zidane because he is great with the ball, not to mention he dictates the game in the middle and helps create chances for his team."
If you could play any sport other then soccer, what would it be and why?
"If you asked my teammates they would say I'm not very good at anything else. Volleyball and tennis seem like a really fun sport though because the fans really get into the game."
How excited are you for this season?
"I'm very excited for this season. We have a great team coming in and I expect great things this year."
