
TCU Topples Texas-San Antonio, 62-46

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Brent Hackett scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, to help lead TCU to a 62-46 win over Texas-San Antonio on Wednesday night.
Alvardo Parker came off the bench to add 12 points for the Horned Frogs (5-3). He led the team with eight rebounds.
The Roadrunners (3-6) held TCU scoreless for the first six minutes of the game, but the Horned Frogs went on a 23-8 run to take the lead for good. TCU led 28-20 at the half.
Melvin Smith led Texas-San Antonio with 11 points. Keith Spencer added 10 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
The Roadrunners hit only 32 percent of their field goals and turned the ball over 16 times.
