
Adrianne Ross named to the Basketball Travelers All-Tournament team

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - TCU junior All-America candidate and preseason All-MWC honoree Adrianne Ross was named to the Basketball Travelers at Maryland All-Tournament team, it was announced Sunday night.
Ross played outstanding in the tournament, averaging 18.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game. In addition, she averaged 31.3 minutes of playing time and shot a 41.2 percent from the field.
Against No. 1/1 Maryland, the native of Hobbs, New Mexico, was 5-for-12 from the floor, including a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line for 15 points. The following day, Ross tied her career record in points with 24 (9-of-16) versus No. 25 George Washingon. She concluded the BTI Classic with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in a heartbreaking overtime loss to Arizona. In addition, her jumper with just 31 seconds remaining in regulation forced the game into extra minutes. Ross played in a career-best 42 minutes in the loss to the Wildcats.
