
Lacy named Co-MWC Player of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU's Natasha Lacy was named Co-Mountain West Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Lacy shared the honor with Wyoming's Megan McGuffey.Lacy, a 5-10 junior guard from El Paso, Texas, tied her career high 23 points in TCU's 70-58 win over Texas-Arlington on Friday, going 7-for-10 from the floor and 9-for-11 at the free-throw line. It marked the second consecutive game she scored 20-plus points. She also had a season-high four steals.
Monday's announcement marked the first time in Lacy's career that she earned a conference player of the week nod.
The Lady Frogs, who are on a three-game winning streak heading into tonight's game with Cornell, begin MWC play Saturday at Wyoming.
