- TCU's victory marked its fourth in a row over SMU. The 11-point margin of victory was the most for the Lady Frogs in its five all-time victories in Dallas.
- TCU's 79 points was a season-high, as was its nine threes.
- The Lady Frogs shot a season-best 78.6 percent (22-of-28) at the free-throw line after entering the game shooting just 59 percent on the year.
- TCU sophomore guard Moneka Knight tallied a career-high eight points.
- With just 13 turnovers, TCU has recorded 15 or fewer miscues three times this season.
- The Lady Frogs trailed 26-12 with 10:25 to go in the first half before leading by as many as 16 with under five minutes left in the contest.
- TCU was down 50-45 with 12:47 remaining before going on a 25-6 run over the next 7:55.
- TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy tallied 14 points for her fifth double-digit scoring effort of the season and the 29th of her career.
- TCU sophomore forward Lorie Butler-Rayford had her streak of 15 consecutive starts dating back to last season broken. She managed to tally a team-high 17 points for her second game of the year in double figures.
- TCU sophomore forward Jenna Lohse equaled her career-high six points for the third game in a row. She also made her first career start and tied a career-high with four rebounds.
- Although standing just 5-8, TCU sophomore guard Adrianne Ross recorded a career-high two blocked shots, both coming during the final six minutes of the game on three-point attempts.
- TCU freshman forward Brittany Purdom had four rebounds despite playing just three minutes and scored her first career field goal.
