- TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy recorded a double-double for the second game in a row with 13 points and 13 rebounds. It was also the fifth of her career. The 13 boards fell one short of tying her career high.
- TCU senior forward Vanessa Clementino racked up three more blocked shots tonight to bring her season total to seven. She had 23 for the entire 2004-05 season.
- TCU freshmen Brittany Purdom, Whitney Regian and Micaela Younger got their first taste of collegiate action tonight. Purdom had one point and two rebounds, Regian tallied two points and three rebounds, and Younger had two points.
- TCU senior guard Stephanie Thiel hit her first two-point bucket at the NCAA Division I level. Coming into the game, her 11 career field goals were all threes.
- TCU's 29-point defeat was its worst since falling at Texas 86-54 on Dec. 10, 2002. It was also the largest margin of defeat for coach Jeff Mittie in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
- TCU struggled from behind the three-point line for the second straight game, going 2-of-19 (.105). For the season, the Lady Frogs are now 7-of-46 (.152).
- Former Georgia football star and 1982 Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker attended tonight's game.
