Sestini Continues to Win at ITA All-American

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.
Fabrizio Sestini from the TCU men's tennis team won his second match in the qualifying tournament of the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships Tuesday. Sestini, ranked 73rd this fall, picked up a 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Daniel Sebescen from California at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn., to advance. He needs one more victory to reach the main draw of the tournament, which begins Oct. 7. Sestini faces 89th-ranked Matic Omerzel of Georgia Wednesday at 9 a.m. CDT.
Sestini and Rafael Abreu are already in the main draw of doubles due to their No. 8 national ranking. They won the Baylor Intercollegiate earlier this fall and take a 4-0 record into the tournament.
