TCU/Texas A&M Men's Tennis Match Postponed

ATHENS, Georgia (May 19, 2001) -- Due to inclement weather at the 2001 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships, being held on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia, two afternoon matches scheduled for Saturday were unable to be played and have been rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 20. As a result, TCU and Texas A&M's Elite Eight matchup has been postponed until Monday, May 21 at noon on the McWhorter Tennis Courts at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The individual singles and doubles portion of the championships will now begin on Thursday, May 24, and will conclude on Monday, May 28 as originally scheduled.
The revised schedule for the tournament is as follows:
Sunday, May 20, 1 p.m. - UCLA vs. Washington, SMU vs. Mississippi State Monday, May 21, noon and 4 p.m. - TCU vs. Texas A&M, Stanford vs. Tennessee, Georgia vs. Duke/Miami, UCLA/Washington vs. SMU/Mississippi State Tuesday, May 22, noon and 4 p.m. - Semifinal matches Wednesday, May 23, 4 p.m. - Team Final Thursday, May 24 - Singles and Doubles competition begins
