TCU Women's Golfers in 10th at ASU Invitational

TCU senior Angela Stanford (Saginaw, Texas/Boswell HS) is within striking distance of the overall lead. Stanford is in a four-way tie for eighth at even par, 72. Leading the way is Arizona golfer Jenna Daniels, who fired an impressive four-under, 68. Georgina Simpson of San Jose State and Mikaela Parmlid of USC are two shots of the pace. Four golfers are tied at one under, three strokes back.
Rounding out the lineup for TCU, sophomore Lori Sutherland is in 34th place after shooting a 75. Sophomore Jennifer Patterson and freshman Shannon Barr each tallied a 77 en route to a log jam at 53rd place. Junior Brenda Anderson finished round one with a nine-over, 81.
Play continues with Saturday's second round and concludes with Sunday's final round.
