- Director of Football Graphic Design | 2nd Season
Maddie Anderson came to TCU in December 2021 as the football program's director of graphic design.
Anderson oversees and produces all graphics content across TCU football’s social media platforms, as well as content and design for recruiting efforts and communication.
Prior to arriving in Fort Worth, Anderson served two seasons in the same role at SMU as a member of Head Coach Sonny Dykes’ staff.
Before her time in Dallas, Anderson worked as a graphic design intern with the University of South Carolina football program. She was responsible for a variety of designs across the Gamecocks' social media platforms. She also assisted with the execution of recruiting visit photo shoots and was responsible for weekly designs as a key part of national recruiting efforts. Anderson worked directly with the director of graphic design and director of new and creative media, gaining experience in Adobe Creative Suite software, studio and action photography, social media and branding.
In January 2021, Anderson was selected to design for the College Football Playoff National Championship in Miami, Fla. She was part of the first female design duo for the CFP and responsible for producing all social media graphics for the duration of the championship weekend. Her graphics work gained a total of 1.2 million engagements and 135,000 reactions across all CFP social accounts.
Anderson was invited to design again for the 2022 CFP National Championship in Indianapolis and led a team of two other designers to build a cohesive and exciting visual style for the event. The 2022 CFP National Championship Team was named the Social Media Team of the Year by Hashtag Sports Awards.
Born in Garden City, N.Y., before moving to Fort Mill, S.C., Anderson graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2020 with a B.S.B.A. in marketing and graphic design. She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Honors College and completed her Senior Thesis on The Importance of Branding and Creative Media in College Sports.
