Played in four games, preserving a redshirt season ... made his first career start in the 30-28 win over Baylor and earned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling 531 yards of offense (461 passing, 70 rushing), the second-best total in TCU history ... the 461 yards passing were the fourth-most in a game by a Horned Frog and ranked third in Big 12 history for a player in his first career start ... it was also the third-most nationally since 2012 for a player in his first career start ... had TCU’s first 400-yard passing game since Kenny Hill threw for 449 versus Oklahoma in 2016 ... scored his first touchdown as a Horned Frog in the Baylor game on a 12-yard first-quarter keeper, finishing the contest with 70 yards rushing on 11 carries ... also had a 7-yard reception in the game ... started the following week at Oklahoma State before a season-ending injury ... made his TCU debut in the opener against Duquesne and had a 20-yard touchdown pass on his first career attempt ... came off-the-bench to complete 9-of-14 passes for 111 yards while rushing for 38 yards on eight carries at Kansas State.
