Rast saw action in 14 meets where she competed in both Fences and Flat... Earned two total MOPs in Fences against UT Martin on 1/28 scoring an 85 and against Fresno State on 3/5 scoring an 87... Was 7-6 in Fences and 0-1 in Flat... Earned her third career Academic All-Big 12 honor... Named to the NCEA All-Academic First Team for the first time in her career.

Rast put together a phenomenal season competing in 17 meets in both Jumping Seat events... Rode to a 11-3 mark in Fences and a 1-2 tally in Flat action... Picked up one MOP on the year, winning 84-82 on Fats against Baylor on Feb. 7... Won her first six rides to begin the year and eight out of her first nine in Fences... Set a season-high 86 against Georgia on Senior Day, riding on Elle... Competed in Flat action for the first time since her freshman year, winning 79-78 in her first ride... Earned Big 12 Fences Rider of the Year honors as well as being tabbed to the All-Big 12 Fences team... Garnered Second Team All-America recognition by the NCEA... Received Second Team All-Academic honors from the NCEA and Big 12 for her work in the classroom during the year... Named the Fences Rider of the Month by both the NCEA and Big 12 after going 5-0 during the month, with four of those rides on the road.

Rast competed in 16 meets during her sophomore year... rode to a record of 9-6 over Fences... had an unofficial record of 1-0 competing on the Flat... had six regular season meets scoring 80 or more... went undefeated in the Big 12 Championship in Stillwater... brought five consecutive win streak into the NCEA national competition... received academic recognition in the form of the All-Big 12 second team and an honorable mention NCEA All-Academic teamer... Named to the All-Big 12 team for a record of 5-1 in Big 12 action... the Big 12 Rider of the Month for Equitation over Fences in the month of March.

Rast comes to TCU after graduating from Blue Valley Southwest High School with multiple Principal's Honor Roll placements and as a two-time recipient of the Presidential Community Service Award, not to mention being a Scholars Member of the National Honor Society ... The Stilwell, Kan. native lettered in equestrian all four years of high school ... She is a Zone 7 Equestrian Championship Finals winner ... Gold Medal Individual and a Silver Medal Team in Region 5 Children/Adult Jumper Championship ... Top 10 on the West Coast at the Washington International Horse Show ... Equitation Circuit Championship accolades in the 2015 St. Louis Winter Series ... Competed at the 2016 USEF Medal Finals and placed sixth overall at the 2016 Maclay Regionals, qualifying her for the Maclay Finals at the National Horse Show ... Was named the WCHR High Point Rider ... Garnered a fourth-place finish at the Spring Spectacular Equitation Challenge.
