Made five starts as part of 10 appearances on the year... totaled 20 innings on the mound and recorded 14 strikeouts... went 3-0 on the season... team was 8-2 in games he pitched and 3-1 in games he started... collegiate debut came as a starter at San Diego (Feb. 17)... allowed four runs on six hits and struck out two in 2 2/3 innings... earned first career win as a reliever against Tarleton State (Feb. 25)... allowed two runs and struck out two in an inning of work against Southern Miss (March 2)... went four innings allowing just one run in a start against Air Force (March 5) to improve to 2-0 on the season... gave up a run on hit and struck out one in 2/3 of an inning at Texas State (March 11)... struck out two of three batters face in an outing at Texas Tech (March 21)... threw five shutout innings, giving up three hits and striking out four in a start against UTRGV (March 26)... allowed three runs (two earned) in an inning of work against UTSA (April 1)... final start of the season came at UT Arlington (April 8)... allowed two runs on four hits in 2 2/3 innings... made final appearance against Cincinnati (May 9).
