Was the starting pitcher in all four of his appearances on the season... tossed just 8 1/3 innings as his season was hampered by an injury... team was 3-1 in games he started... made collegiate debut as the Game 3 starter at UCLA (Feb. 22)... gave up three runs and struck out one in two innings of work... earned first career win in a predetermined three inning start against New Haven (March 1)... allowed a run on five hits and struck out two... gave up two runs (one earned) on one hit, walked four and struck out two against Tulane (March 8)... final start came against New Mexico State (March 17)... missed the remainder of the season with an injury.
