- Became the first TCU individual to win a tournament since April 2005, when Colby Beckstrom and Drew Stoltz shared medalist honors at the Conference USA Championships.
- The ninth different Horned Frog player in the past decade, dating back to PGA Tour star J.J. Henry, to win medalist honors at a tournament.

Fort Worth, Texas - Shot a final-round 3-under-par 70 to rally from a five-stroke deficit and claim the individual title at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
- Began the final round in 11th place.
- Became the first TCU women's golfer to take medalist honors since February 2004, when Brooke Tull captured the Central District Invitational.
- Helped lead TCU to a fourth-place finish out of 17 teams.
