Roosevelt High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Alan Gibson... named first-team all-conference in each of his four seasons... named all-state as a senior due to an outstanding senior campaign in which he hit .682 with seven home runs and 38 RBI... earned Greeley Tribune and Loveland Reporter-Harold all-area honors as a junior and senior... was a first-team academic all-state performer his final two seasons... named the RHS Scholastic Athlete and Male Athlete of the Year as a senior.
